Leadership Challenge

Adventure Based Experiential Learning:
            Whether you’re a youth or an adult, everyone can learn from using adventure experiences to clarify, explore their strengths and weakness, overcome personal challenges and view themselves as part of a larger group, sometimes dependant to accomplish a group goal and other times independent in obtaining their own self worth and value to others.
            The Leadership Challenge program offered by Camp Kostopulos comes in many forms, tailored to meet your specific needs.  In all the various approaches, an atmosphere of trust and an increased sense of personal accomplishment strengthen the individual and the group.  Often individuals and groups set their own goals for their experience. 
            Many groups use our vast array of initiative activities to work as a team in developing and improving group dynamics and cohesiveness.  As few as a couple hours can change and awaken untapped resources, understanding, appreciation and respect for the individuals in the group. 
Custom designed programs for families, corporations, school groups,, mental health organizations, government agencies, non-profits and various other community groups utilize the resources of the Challenge Leadership program at Camp Kostopulos.
Initiative Adventures:
            Using hundreds of initiative activities groups explore their communication styles and develop new techniques.  With problem solving activities, groups learn to trust and rely on the individual talents and skills of their team members.  Through providing decision making opportunities the group improves their options to utilize every member of the team, thus maximizing their potential. 
Challenge Ropes Course:
            Camp Kostopulos has a low, medium and high ropes course to serve the highest level of personal challenge, whether that’s working on a low course that’s ranges from a few inches off the ground to those wanting the ultimate thrill participating at fifty feet above the ground.
Training topics: 
            Leadership exploration, communication, teamwork, self-awareness, self-esteem building, expression of feelings, problem-solving and decision making skills all play a role in personal and leadership development. 

Choose from ½ day trainings to multiple days with accommodations provided.
Group sizes range from 8-80.  Coincidentally this is the age range we work with.
Corporate and non-profit rates apply.       
Facilitators Training:
            For those organizations, camps, specialized agencies or individuals wanting training to be an Adventure Challenge facilitator, inquire about our trainings for beginners to advanced levels. Refresher courses are offered for employees working in the industry.
            Exterior Challenge Ropes Courses are open from April- November.  Interior team work initiatives are offered year round as space is available.
