Camp K has partnered with the Utah Division of Rehabilitation Services, to provide a Vocational Rehabilitation Program which prepares students to successfully from high school into the workforce. At this time, the program is specifically designed for high school aged students.
Camp K brings an engaging and fun atmosphere to the learning process, where students not only learn new skills, but they have fun while they are learning.
Each session includes hands-on experience to mock a real work environment.
Training modules include:
Throughout this program, students learn how to interact with peers and co-workers in an appropriate way, how to dress for an interview, how to dress for a job, and specific, job related skills. They also gain confidence and self-esteem as they successfully complete the hands-on activities.
When the students complete the Vocational Rehabilitation Program, they are ready to enter the next program: SWEET (Summer Work Exploration, Experience, and Training). Only students who have completed Camp K’s Vocational Rehabilitation Program are eligible for SWEET.
