United Way Day of Caring

On September 11, we had the honor of hosting a United Way Day of Caring Service event, in coordination with the LDS Church, Zions Bank, and UServeUtah.  More than 190 volunteers participated from the LDS Church, Zions Bank, Optum 360.
911 day of serviceThe Day of Caring is spearheaded by the United Way, and is the community’s largest single-day volunteer event.
The LDS Church has participated in the Day of Caring for Camp K for more than 10 years.  They helped to organize this day, and the many projects – they spent many hours leading up to this project to ensure that it was a success.
The volunteers completed many important projects for our facilities, including:  Deep-cleaning our lodge and cabins, landscaping, painting, sealing concrete, plumbing and electrical repairs, creation/excavation of new equestrian trail, and many other services.
We deeply appreciate all of the service which was completed this day.
