Mircea has a conviction for leading innovative partnerships to build a sustainable, collective social impact in our community – and Mircea is here to do just that for the Southwest Local Council of Leaders. Mircea is dedicated to the mission of ACA and wants nothing more than to be one of the many building blocks that are coming together to grow the strength and presence of the Southwest Local Office. He is committed to helping grow the membership of the Southwest through networking, events, and communication.
Mircea knows that it takes a village to truly get things done! Are you interested in helping Mircea bring on more members of our great organization? The more Individual Members, Member Camps, and Accredited Camps that we can bring in to the ACA the more opportunities we can offer for our community through the camp experience, professional development, and member resources.

On Tuesday, December 2, Bextr celebrated their launch party in conjunction with Giving Tuesday – with all proceeds of the event benefitting Camp K. The party was hosted at Lumpys Downtown.

All who attended the party had a great time, enjoying music, food, and drinks. The new digital innovations of Bexter were displayed on screens throughout the venue.

Kostopulos Dream Foundation was honored to receive the Pass it Along award from the Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union. This award was presented at the Jazz vs Chicago Bulls game on November 24. We had many of our campers and their families in the audience that night.

The Disability Law Center recognized Camp K as a “Champion of Inclusion” at their annual Community Justice Awards Gala on Saturday, November 8. Celina Jensen, one of our campers, attended the award ceremony, and is pictured above with Mircea.

The Community Justice Awards are presented annually to individuals, organizations and employers whose contributions have advanced the lives and opportunities of people with disabilities or who have been selfless in serving the disability community in Utah. This year’s awards recognize organizations and individuals who have made our community more inclusive to Utahns with disabilities.
We are grateful to the Disability Law Center for the service that they provide to our community, and we are honored to receive this award.
We would like to thank Jeff & Tania Miller of Mark Miller Subaru for choosing Camp K to participate in their Do Good Feel Good campaign of 2014. With the help of several new Subaru owners and Mark Miller Subaru, Camp K received nearly $7,000 in donations. The money raised will help us support our Mission and we thank Mark Miller Subaru and all of the new Subaru owners who chose Camp K!! THANKS!!!
